Disposable Manual Resuscitator
A Disposable Manual Resuscitator (also known as a Single-Use Bag-Valve-Mask or BVM) is a single-patient emergency ventilation device pre-assembled for immediate deployment in resuscitation, emergency transport, and critical airway management.
Unlike reusable silicone resuscitators, disposable models are made from medical-grade PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or SEBS (Styrene-Ethylene-Butylene-Styrene) and are designed to be discarded after use, eliminating cross-contamination risks and removing the need for autoclave sterilization.
Key Features & Benefits
- Zero Cross-Contamination Risk: Single-patient-use design ensures 100% infection control compliance, eliminating hospital-acquired pathogen transfers between patients.
- Rapid Pre-Assembled Deployment: Ready to use straight out of the box in critical emergency response scenarios, ambulances, or code-blue carts.
- Textured High-Grip Bag: Semi-transparent PVC/SEBS material provides clear visibility into valve operations and a non-slip grip during manual compressions.
- Built-In Pressure Relief Valve: Features a factory-set 40-45 cm H2O pop-off valve on pediatric and infant sizes to prevent pulmonary barotrauma.
- Integrated Oxygen Reservoir: Includes a high-capacity reservoir bag and star-lumen kink-resistant tubing to deliver up to 99-100 % FiO2
- 360° Swivel Connector: Rotates freely to prevent tubing twists and maintain a stable seal during patient movement.
